We enjoyed a lovely evening by kind invitation from Paul and Shirley of the Rose & Crown at East Lyng.  We sampled their new menu, and thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes.  Thank you very much!

Great to find a pub where the children are genuinely welcome, but the proper pub atmosphere is still retained.  Good traditional pub food, sensibly priced and prepared from locally sourced fresh produce.

A beautifully kept premises, with a superb garden, which we will definitely be visiting again, and can highly recommend. 

(And they have a fab open fire!)

WELL WORTH A VISIT - GREAT VILLAGE ATMOSPHERE, AND BACON ROLLS AVAILABLE TOO!

We were kindly invited by Somerset Caravans, Taunton, to attend their special event weekend.  We ran a competition to win an easy bag of logs - Congratulations to our winner!!  (Ms H from Wellington.)

We were pleased to attend and contribute to the Race Night and Auction in aid of Help for Heroes at The Duke of York in Shepton Beauchamp.  The organisers did a brilliant job and raised a massive £8,400!!!
